Can I still get in or will they send me to hell?

This blog tends to be very triggering. It is a haunting black and white blog, with morbid content. You’re welcome to watch my descent into madness. Although, I deeply encourage you not to.

You will learn more about me in this blog, than you will ever learn in person. I am not promoting or glorify eating disorders, self harm and or mental illness. And I try my best to embrace the darkness in which I swim. I love you, please talk to me and we'll be best friends.

Ella Fitzgerald was not allowed to play at Mocambo because of her race. Then, one of Ella’s biggest fans made a telephone call that quite possibly changed the path of her career for good. Here, Ella tells the story of how Marilyn Monroe changed her life:
“I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt… she personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him – and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status – that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman – a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.”

They killed themselves after being bullied for being gay. It’s not okay. They didn’t deserve that end.

It’s not okay for us to be so judgmental. God didn’t call us to be so cruel.
